I photograph the ordinary — people waiting, things left behind, meals half finished, places passed through.

I’m drawn to moments when everyday life briefly arranges itself into something unexpected. A colour meeting another colour. A person appearing in the right place. Hard light dividing a room. Something slightly awkward interrupting an otherwise ordered scene.

My photographs move between observation and abstraction. I often find humour, tenderness or strangeness in situations that might otherwise go unnoticed.

I look closely at everyday life, leaving room for it to surprise me.
